OUR IMPACT

evaluating systems change

We’re evaluating a £5m Health Determinants Research Collaboration — one of the first of its kind — helping Leicestershire County Council embed research into decision-making and drive system-wide change.

enabling holistic healthcare

We brought NHS and VCSE teams together around a biopsychosocial model of care — unlocking over £500k in new investment, embedding a more holistic approach in frontline practice and giving staff the confidence to work differently.

Transforming Rural Education

We worked with Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Education to expand access to learning in rural areas — shaping an ambitious, evidence-led strategy grounded in local priorities and designed for long-term impact.

Building Food Confidence

We’re developing Food Labs — practical, evidence-informed resources designed to increase dietary diversity, reduce pressure around eating and build confidence with food for families and the professionals who support them.

Bridging the Nutrition Gap

We led a consultation that achieved four times the council’s usual engagement — shaping a bold new affordable food strategy with the community’s voice at its core, clear priorities for delivery and a stronger foundation for long-term action.

mapping mental health support

We created a clear picture of children and young people’s mental health services — cutting through complexity to surface strengths, expose gaps and directly inform local commissioning, partnership planning and future strategic decisions.

STRENGTHENING SCHOOL GOVERNANCE

We’re carrying out governance reviews across local schools — providing clear, independent insight to strengthen leadership, sharpen accountability and support better outcomes for pupils.

Strengthening partnership working

We developed the evaluation framework for a new healthcare partnership in one of the UK’s most deprived areas — creating shared clarity on progress and informing future investment decisions.

FOCUSING INVESTMENT WHERE IT MATTERS

We’re conducting research focused on Core20+5 priorities — surfacing local insight to identify where health inequalities are most acute and guide future investment decisions.
